Hello again! It’s been months and months since I’ve written on this blog, I nearly forgot about it! I’m going to tell you about my fav things and stuff about me!

Hobbies: playing netball, going to the snow and going skiing which I don’t do often enough and playing the piano. 

WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night I went to Melbourne to see The Cat Empire play at the tennis with Nadal and Federer! (I was going for Federer but Nadal won )

Anyway, we saw The Cat Empire there- a great Aussie band! And Gabriella Cilmi was also playing. But she wasn’t so great compared to the Empire! I went with Freya and all we did was basically wear ice-pack bandanas around our heads, tie ribbons in our hair and on our legs and around our stomachs and draw The Cat Empire symbol on our faces and legs with red eyeliner! LOL!

Then we went into the arena and started listening to Gabriella Cilmi and she did this real wierd version of ‘Sweet About Me’ because she started singing a Kings of Leon song in the middle of it which was a bit strange, but we didnt care because then The Cat Empire came on and we spent the rest of the night at the very front about a metre away from the stage and were jumping all night and screaming and singing and dancing!

Then when the concert was over, we were still standing on the dancefloor at the front behind the barriers and trying to ask all the rhodies for one of the Empires drum sticks but they wouldn’t give us one and the security guards were telling us to get out. But we didn’t want to leave and none of the audience there wanted to leave and everyone was shouting “CAT EMPIRE! CAT EMPIRE! CAT EMPIRE! CAT EMPIRE!” To make them come back on but the host person came out and told everyone to stop screaming but everyone kept chanting: “CAT EMPIRE!” But he wouldnt get them back on so then everyone was dissapointed. And it took the security guards ages to get everyone out! Oh well…………

Well that was my exciting night of seeing The Cat Empire play live!

Well, can you believe it?

It’s nearing the end of the year already! School’s nearly over and we are about to start our Summer/Christmas holidays!!! 6 weeks off school until I start year 7 next year at the secondary college! WOOPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This Thursday, all the grade 5/6s are going down to the local pool for our end of year breakup!! We bring our bathers, water bombs, chips, lollies and soft drink with us and WOOHOO!!!! Let the fun begin! (Though we do bring healthy stuff aswell like fruit and water! Not just junk! HA HA!)

We stay at the pool in the sun, splashing about for the whole day and then we walk home or otherwise our parents pick us up from the pool, but our teachers have to know if we are doing that! Then the rest of us go back to school and say goodbye to our teachers and friends! 

Next, we go home and the 6 week holidays start! On the first day of the holidays I’m going to my friends house for a sleepover pool party at her house with four other friends aswell for an end of year party!!

So, that’s what I’m doing on the last day of school and the first day of the holidays!! What are you doing for your holidays??
